Iran’s foreign policy strategy is not determined by the outcome of the U.S. midterm elections, explicitly declared Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
Emphasizing that Tehran is not awaiting the results of the U.S. midterm elections held on Tuesday (November 3), Gharibabadi noted that political calculations in Washington will bring no shift to Iran’s sovereign international posture.
Deputy FM Gharibabadi stated that regardless of the results of the U.S. midterm elections, they will have no bearing on Iran’s foreign policy. Tehran is not tailoring its policies or diplomatic strategies around potential election outcomes.
Disregarding internal U.S. political dynamics or election results, Iran will continue to execute its foreign policy solely based on its own national interests, sovereignty, and geopolitical positioning.
Tehran remains steadfast in pursuing its strategic goals through independent decision-making, regardless of whether Democrats or Republicans establish control over the U.S. Congress.
