Following the relief distribution, the Home Minister visited the Shorakul area in Chakaria to inspect severely damaged embankments, rural roads, and homesteads. He interacted directly with the flood-hit locals, listening to their grievances and hardships, and issued immediate directives to the relevant local authorities to implement swift and effective permanent solutions.
Regarding post-flood recovery plans, the Home Minister revealed that a comprehensive government survey is currently being conducted across all flood-affected regions of the country. Once the assessment is complete, immediate steps will be taken to reconstruct damaged roads, educational institutions, embankments, and other vital infrastructure. Furthermore, necessary assistance will be provided to affected farmers to ensure they can quickly return to normalcy and rebuild their livelihoods.
