Young Bangladeshi pace sensation Nahid Rana has returned home from Perth, Australia, following medical consultations and comprehensive health examinations. However, his detailed scan reports and the physician’s evaluation have yet to reach the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Nahid Rana had been suffering from a side strain alongside severe pain in his shinbone. To pinpoint the exact cause of his discomfort, the BCB medical team sent him to Perth to consult Dr. Dror Maor, a renowned sports orthopedic surgeon. According to BCB sources, his scan results are expected shortly, after which his subsequent rehabilitation roadmap will be finalized.
Experienced national pacer Taskin Ahmed also traveled to Australia to consult the same specialist alongside Nahid Rana. Having completed treatment for a long-standing shoulder issue and an ankle bone spur, he has also returned to Bangladesh.
Without delay upon his return, the right-arm pacer joined the national team’s scheduled fitness and regular practice camp today.
