Popular Tollywood actor Kharaj Mukherjee has been caught in severe natural disasters and harsh weather conditions while shooting for a new film in Nepal. A flash flood devastated extensive areas in Rasuwa district, near the Nepal-China border. Due to widespread landslides and network blackouts, his family has been unable to reach him, raising concern.
However, the actor’s son, Tamoghna Mukherjee (Bihu), assured that there is no immediate cause for panic. He confirmed that his mother is also accompanying his father on the trip. Although bad weather has disrupted flights and disabled local mobile networks, the family expects them to be physically safe and sound.
Tamoghna mentioned that he last spoke to his mother two days ago, but communication has been severed since yesterday solely due to the network outages. The family expressed hope that as soon as weather and communication conditions improve and flights resume, they will return home safely.
Tamoghna Mukherjee confirmed that the lack of communication is directly tied to damaged telecom infrastructure in the mountainous area rather than any immediate mishap.
The family expects Kharaj Mukherjee and the entire team to fly back safely as soon as weather conditions stabilize and regional flight operations resume.
