Popular Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have embraced parenthood for the second time, welcoming another baby girl to their family. The couple shared the joyous news with their fans and well-wishers on Sunday through a joint announcement on Instagram.
Deepika and Ranveer posted an illustration featuring a newborn’s tiny footprint on Instagram, accompanied by a short yet heartwarming caption: “Welcome Baby Girl.”
The arrival of their second child comes almost exactly two years after the birth of their first daughter, Dua, who was born on September 8, 2024.
Earlier this year, on April 19, the couple publicly announced they were expecting their second child. That announcement featured a playful social media picture showing young Dua holding a pregnancy test kit, which garnered widespread excitement and delight among fans.
Prior to the announcement, Deepika and Ranveer visited Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in traditional attire to offer prayers, surrounded by tight security and cheering fans.
