Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has ordered the immediate reconstruction and restoration of the country’s strategic infrastructure—particularly damaged rail networks and international transit corridors—following recent US military strikes.
President Pezeshkian issued the emergency directives on Sunday after assessing the total damage during an inspection of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, according to a report by Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera.
During his visit, President Pezeshkian highlighted enhancing regional connectivity and strengthening transport infrastructure with neighboring countries as a top strategic priority for Iran.
